After a year that has seen the Independent Label Market return to Berlin, debut in Bristol and Hamburg and make a trip back over the pond to LA, November sees the market return home for the final event of 2015. Returning to Old Spitalfields Market on Saturday 28th November for the fifth Christmas market in London and 11th London edition. Once again, Independent Label Market will be supported by AIM - the Association of Independent Music and Last FM.

We are very excited to be welcoming back XL Recordings to the proceedings for their first Christmas market plus Acid Jazz make a welcome return to this year’s yuletide adventure. We’re also back with perhaps our finest DJ line up to date in Young Turks, DEEK b2b Be-With b2b Emotional Response, !K7, A House In The Trees, First Word, Wah Wah 45s, Jazzman and a one off very special set from the Last FM DJs who’ll be spinning some grooves straight from the vaults nicing up the now famous Clementine Soundsystem (supplied by Unit 137.)

The labels are bringing with them their extensive back catalogues plus a selection of amazing market exclusives, rarities, signed goods and exclusive test pressings’. Among them the latest release fromKaya Kaya NYC punk/hardcore band Show Me The Body’s super limited 12” on sale at the market. Handsome Dad have the last ever copy of UK buzz band Spring King’s first EP and signed Big Moon gear. Tru Thoughts stock exclusive Quantic tour 12”s. While Gare Du Nordhave a special collaboration between Papernut Cambridge and Luke Smith & The Feelingsperforming four TV theme songs by the late comedy writer John Sullivan. Stay tuned for more exclusive information closer to the market.

Following the huge success of the Summer market with over 53,000 music and beer fans in attendance, we'll be partnering up with London Brewers’ Market for a seventh time, which will feature a selection of local breweries from the London area. Much like independent record labels, small independent breweries are currently on trend in the capital and making noise in the beer world too. In London, the number of breweries has reportedly increased by as much as five times since 2010, with their ales featuring on the bars of some this country's busiest pubs and restaurants, as well as abroad. Get a chance to meet some of the brewers behind London’s thriving beer scene, learn about the different varieties of beer, and enjoy some fine examples to drink at the market as well as to take home in bottle. There will be a beer garden set up amongst the ILM and Brewer's stalls, where there will be product sampling, live music and DJ sets throughout the day.
